How to view the risks that may impact you the most
The Your Priorities section will show you the risks with the most potential for impacting how your organisation is viewed by external bodies, whether that be by an insurer, an investor, or auditor.
Scroll down on your dashboard to see the Your Priorities section. and click on the tile to be taken to the main screen.
When you click through you will see the issues that may pose the most significant impact to your goals divided into Essential Actions and Advisable Actions.
Essential Actions require immediate investigation and will be the risks highlighted in any external review of your organisation by another party for the purposes of insurance
Advisable Actions are risks which may become critical in the future, or that require affirmation that the risk has suitable mitigations behind the perimeter that make it secure.
Clicking on the actions will provide you with more information on the type of vulnerability including:
- FQDN
- IP
- Port
- Host
- Registrant
You can also download these risks in the form of a KYND SIGNALS report PDF. This will allow you to share the results with members of your organisation who do not have access to the portal.
You can do this by clicking on the Download Signals PDF button above the essential risks tile, on the right hand side.
Remember that not all risks need to be resolved by closing a port.
In many cases open ports are a feature of the network and what is required from you is to affirm you are aware of them, have mitigated the potential risks being flagged, and that they are working as expected.
