I have patched the services on my developer access port, why is KYND still flagging it as out of date?
Patching, or backporting, is the process of taking the security patches available in newer versions and applying them to the older versions currently being run.
Because KYND scans are based on the publicly available information about a port, we only see the declared version of a service, rather than any patches you may have applied behind the scenes.
As long as the publicly visible version of the port remains as the "out of date" version - KYND will alert to a potential risk.
