What is this and why are we alerting to it?
Darknets are networks with no active services. Attackers scan them to find potential security gaps in systems that might not be properly monitored. Scanning darknets could expose weaknesses in your systems that attackers might use to break in.
How do I resolve this?
KYND will alert you if IP addresses in your organisation have been linked to darknet scanning. This behaviour might indicate an attempt to explore vulnerabilities within your network. Prompt investigation and stronger access controls are advised to reduce this potential risk. Check your KYND ON account or report for a full list of the affected IPs and further information about the risk.
