How does KYND measure and rank your organisation in comparison with its business sector and competitors?

Comparative Risk Analysis measures the organisation in its performance in 4 areas that affect cyber risk and shows how the organisation ranks against its peers for each of the areas:
-
use of out of date/vulnerable software,
-
management of internet domains,
-
presence of misconfigured services,
-
management of security certificates.
We then compare the organisation to circa 200 other organisations in the same industry and in each area an organisation is ranked either:
-
In the group – meaning in line with top 70% of peers
-
Off the back – meaning falling behind, in the bottom 30%-10%
-
Straggling – meaning weaker than its peers, in the bottom 10%
It is important to note that individual severity of risks is not taken into consideration in this comparison, for example being 'In the group' in an industry where performance in a specific area is generally very low - doesn't mean that those risks should be neglected.
We've partnered up with Crowe and the University of Portsmouth Centre for Counter Fraud Studies to research risks impacting different types of businesses and industries - follow this link to find out more.
